Life happens in the breath, but did you know that there is a space between the breaths?

We inhale. We Exhale. Then there is a pause before we inhale again. In this pause we can find creativity….clarity….greater potential!

We breathe in and out about 22,000 times a day. So that’s a lot of opportunity for us to become aware of the pause. We remove ourselves from doing and focus on simply being. It’s that pause that connects the dots of our story.

I love that in the Bible, mostly in the Psalms, (almost as a command) we see the word “Selah” over and over again

Selah means stop and think about it…reflect and capture. Selah is the pause!

It’s also one of the few words in the Bible that is there as a transliteration as opposed to other parts of scripture which are translation. That strikes me as though there may be some importance in the “pause.

“The Space Between the Breath”represents an invitation for us to recognize the pause in life; to linger in the
space for creativity, and take time to gain fresh perspective and insight!
